To All Participants in the 29th Oil Shale Symposium

Thank you very much for helping make the Symposium such a success. It was exciting to see the level of interest and interaction that occurred throughout the two-and-a-half days of the Symposium, as well as during the following Field Trip. We have all appreciated the gracious compliments so many of you have sent. As we consider planning the 30th Oil Shale Symposium, you can help us again by completing a short online evaluation (on this web site) for the Symposium and Field trip, as they may apply.

We are especially interested in comments on the balance of time allocated to presentations, posters, and unstructured breaks and meal times.

Regarding the Proceedings, we have set a December 4, 2009 deadline for paper submission, for those who wish to refine the materials presented at the Symposium. This will enable the Symposium team to assemble a proceedings CD (or CDs) soon after the end of the calendar year. One copy will be provided free of charge to each participant who registered for the Symposium, and the Proceedings will also be available for purchase.

On behalf of the entire Symposium Organizing Committee, I want to thank you all again.
